The national accredited brick cleaning course has been expanded to include concrete block cleaning.
The new brick and block cleaning course covers the basics of bricks and blocks, working with contemporary bricks and blocks, planning and preparing a worksite, identifying brick and block stains, prevention of stains, techniques not to damage bricks and blocks, effective cleaning of brick and block stains, clean up and safe storage of equipment and chemicals, and using environmentally friendly cleaning solutions.
Anyone engaged in brick manufacturing, bricklaying, brick and block cleaning, construction (residential and commercial) and building supervisory activities will find the national course useful and relevant
Registrations for the national brick and block cleaning courses have now closed. We will be scheduling courses for Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth in July. There will also be courses in Sydney and Melbourne during September.
Due to social distancing requirements associated with COVID-19, we are only offering the long stream course this year.
The short stream course is 3 hours long and provides an overview of brick and block cleaning.
The long stream course is 2 days long and provides a pathway to becoming an accredited brick cleaner. It consists of theoretical and practical components.
