The first of its kind in Australia, and the most comprehensive worldwide, the Monash University Geology Garden marks a brand new, hands-on approach to studying geology, physical geography and atmospheric sciences.
Based on the geology and geomorphology of Victoria, the 120 metre long x 30 metre wide garden comprises a stunning arrangement of nearly 500 rock specimens, laid out to form outcrops of rocks, along with the Bowral pavers in a geological map and set amongst beautiful native trees and plants.
Australian Native Landscape Constructions (ANLC) were awarded the prestigious “Victorian Landscape of the Year” in 2015 by Landscaping Industry Association of Victoria, making it three years in a row for ANLC.
