Flinders Keep is a Mornington Peninsula residence designed by Architect Jill Gleave of Human Spaces and built by Luke Williams of Neil Williams & Sons.

Boral Designer Series Alabaster Split Face Blocks are integral to the success of this project, showcased internally and externally in a series of monolithic plinths along the Southern façade.

Split Face Blockwork dramatically defines each of the interior levels, embracing and protecting the living spaces beyond.
Living spaces organised along a passageway are bounded by a smooth, curved, inner plasterboard wall, dynamically contrasting the robust and reassuring texture of the outer Split Face Block wall.

To the North, subordinate and understated retaining walls, constructed from Boral Designer Smooth Face Alabaster Blocks, lie perpendicular to the primary curved axis, creating intimate outdoor living spaces.

Neil Williams and Sons’ masonry contractor, John Wood from I Lay M, was crucial to the realisation of the vision. The final effect is both reassuring and inspirational.

Flinders Keep is a beautiful home for all seasons.
