As part of the Governments Building Excellence Revolution scheme, Penrith Anglican College at Orchard Hills received a $3 million BER grant to build a mulitpurpose hall.

The hall was built using a combination of Austral Masonry blocks, from the GB Masonry range produced in Gympie. These sandstone blocks offer a unique natural stone finish, whilst offering design and construction flexibility. Externally, the structure was built using the Austral Sandblend splitface blocks. Internally, the Heritage Rockface blocks were used in combination with the Sandblend smooth and splitface textures. The mix of these blocks and textures allowed for a contemporary design whilst maintaining a classical feel which blends well with the surrounding landscape.
